The new 2011 Dodge Charger Pursuit features a redesigned interior and exterior while offering advantages in safety and capability from extensive structural enhancements including the use of high-strength steels and Unibody construction, to its rear-wheel drive configuration.For standard power it boasts the all-new 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 VVT mated to a 5-speed AutoStick® transmission.

The HEMI V8 5.7 Liter engine with Fuel Saver Technology delivers exceptional power and torque and is tuned to the specific Charger model. On the Charger R/T, this legendary engine delivers an estimated 370 horsepower at 5250 rpm and 395 pound-feet of torque at 4250 RPM. Variable Valve Timing (VVT) increases power output without sacrificing fuel economy by constantly adjusting the camshaft tuning based upon the type of performance required. The Fuel Saver Technology helps increase fuel economy by automatically and seamlessly turning off the fuel to four cylinders based on torque requirements when V8 power is not needed, such as cruising steadily at highway speeds.
Electronic Stability Control
Standard Electronic Stability Control, or ESC, senses when there’s a difference between the driver’s intended path and the actual path of the vehicle. ESC then applies selective braking, and sometimes throttle control, to help guide the vehicle back on to the driver’s intended path.
All-speed traction control (included with ESC)*
Standard all-speed traction control is an electronically controlled system that limits wheel spin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It’s particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions.
